Job Description:

As a minimum requirement, applicant must have an associate or baccalaureate degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent coursework. Applicant may also be enrolled in an associate or baccalaureate degree program in early childhood education, or related field and must be able to obtain the degree within a reasonable timeframe after the initial date of hire. Applicant must meet state licensing requirements.

Must complete all trainings required by child care licensing, including but not limited to 
the following: 
a. Ongoing Training: Staff must participate in annual training on child safety, mandated 
reporting, and emergency procedures (Title 22, §101216.2). 
b. Mandated Reporting: All employees are mandated reporters of suspected child abuse 
or neglect (Title 22, §101212(d)) 

 

PAY RATE Depending on Education:

On Waiver - $24.08 Hourly

AA in ECE - $26.50 Hourly

BA in ECE - $28.92 Hourly
